understanding knowledge wisdom

Will Christ Schooling Fulfil all standards needed for my child

Yes indeed!!!

Your child needs knowledge, Wisdom and Understanding to attain this standard that you are looking forward too and yes, Wholesome knowledge is bestowed upon your child based on the Bible; The Bible says wisdom is gained from God, “For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding” Proverbs 2:6.

In Christ Schooling scripture is the anchorage through which the child is guided to acquire knowledge and through understanding God’s wisdom is implied in their daily life. Interesting though the words wisdom knowledge and understanding sounds quite similar but they are by themselves a separate unit but interlinked with each other.

Wisdom & knowledge might seem like synonyms, but they’re not. You can have knowledge without wisdom, but you can’t have wisdom without knowledge. Understanding –   it’s like the step between knowledge and wisdom. When you comprehend the information you’ve learned, or knowledge, you understand it. When you understand the knowledge and learn to apply it to decision-making, you gain wisdom.

God is the source of both knowledge and wisdom; the bible implies that if any man lacks it you can ask God who freely gives to the one who seeks it, furthermore it stresses on the fact no matter the cost to get understanding by all means. Wisdom knowledge and Understanding all there look the same but they have different meanings, but the bible clearly states they build on each other.

Understanding comes from learning God’s Word. Knowledge comes from the experiences and skills God provides to us, and Wisdom comes from an accumulation of the understanding and knowledge we receive over time. All three traits, however, ultimately come from God. As Proverbs 2:6 teaches, “For the Lord gives Wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and Understanding.”

In the Bible, the book of Job chapter 28 vs 28 teaches us that, “Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; And to depart from evil is understanding “To gain understanding we need to use our senses to listen and observe. But the ability to judge appropriately comes from understanding God’s Word.

Proverbs 1:7 says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.”

C.H.Spurgeon wrote: “Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise. Many men know a great deal and are all the greater fools for it. There is no fool so great a fool as a knowing fool. But to know how to use knowledge is to have wisdom.”

As Proverbs 9: 10 sums it up, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is Understanding.”

If we truly want to operate in knowledge, understanding, and wisdom, then it starts with the fear of the Lord! We need to hear His voice because from His mouth He gives wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Because we have the Spirit of Truth living inside of us, we can operate from the Lord’s Spirit, which includes the Spirit of Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Might, and Knowledge!

Proverbs 3:19-20a (NIV) By wisdom the Lord laid the earth’s foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place; by his knowledge the deeps were divided.

Proverbs 24:3-4 (NIV) By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.

When we look at the above two references we get a clear picture of how everything came to be in and through Christ alone and they still do. When God laid the foundation of the Earth wisdom was implied stating when your child is starting to acquire knowledge through learning that is the foundation for which we need Wisdom, and from hence cometh this wisdom- only from God. Christ Schooling lays the foundation in and through Christ alone with Scriptures.

Remember Adam and Eve, God told them not to eat of the fruit from the knowledge of Good and Evil. Yes we would have superficially rushed through the scripture and anchored on disobedience rather than the act of them acquiring knowledge through their own acts, being deceived by the serpent. Self acquired knowledge only provides destruction and is not productive or useful.

God gives us knowledge to help “fix” broken people, protect ourselves from the difficulties of life, and allow love to express itself in good works.

1 Cor 8:1b-2; It is easy to think that we “know” over problems like this, but we should remember that while this “knowing” may make a man look big……, For if a man thinks he “knows” he may still be quite ignorant of what he ought to know.

Jam 3:13-17 states: Is there some wise and understanding man among you? Then let his life be a shining example of the humility that is born of true wisdom. But if your heart is full of bitter jealousy and rivalry, then do not boast and do not deny the truth. You may acquire a certain wisdom, but it does not come from above–it comes from this world, from your own lower nature, even from the devil. For wherever you find jealousy and rivalry you also find disharmony and all other kinds of evil. The wisdom that comes from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, approachable, full of merciful thoughts and kindly actions, straightforward, with no hint of hypocrisy.

1 Cor 3:19-21; Let no one be under any illusion over this. If any man among you thinks himself one of the world’s clever ones, let him discard his cleverness that he may learn to be truly wise. For this world’s cleverness is stupidity to God. It is written: “He that taketh the wise in their craftiness”, and again, “The Lord knoweth the reasonings of the wise, that they are vain.” So let no one boast of men.

1 Cor 1:18-31; The preaching of the cross is, I know, nonsense to those who are involved in this dying world, but to us who are being saved from that death it is nothing less than the power of God. It is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the prudence of the prudent will I reject.” For consider, what have the philosopher, the writer, and the critic of this world to show for all their wisdom?

Has not God made the wisdom of this world look foolish? For it was after the world in its wisdom had failed to know God, that he in his wisdom chose to save all who would believe by the “simple- mindedness” of the gospel message.

For the Jews ask for miraculous signs and the Greeks an intellectual panacea, but all we preach is Christ crucified–a stumbling-block to the Jews and sheer nonsense to the gentiles… for God’s “foolishness” is wiser than men…. But God has chosen what the world calls foolish to shame the wise… that no man may boast in the presence of God…. And this makes us see the truth of the scripture: “He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.”

To conclude, Jam 1:5 (NIV) If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.  This God given wisdom is well established for your child through Christ Schooling and in Christ you can be assured that wholesome knowledge will be acquired and all standards needed for your child will be well established.
